We do not make the logs conform to what we are trying to build, rather we let the logs decide how we are going to do it. If you’re looking for right angles and straight edges, you’re knocking on the wrong door. Mother Nature did not create herself in this way, and we will not either. Each log is unique, and although you may find a piece similar to another, they will never be the same.
